We are seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team in Heath, OH. This full-time position requires a detail-oriented individual to play a vital role in estimating and managing the budgets of specialized projects across Central Ohio. You will work closely with a collaborative team of project managers, engineers, superintendents, and clients to assess costs and develop proposals that align with high standards for quality and client satisfaction.

 Essential Job Functions include:

• Analyze blueprints, plans, and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Superintendents to define project scope, timelines, and resources.
• Assist in creating competitive and comprehensive bids for potential projects.
• Build Strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure fair and favorable pricing.
• Identify potential risks to develop mitigation strategies to minimize project costs and delays.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure all required paperwork and documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Travel to project sites and conduct walkthroughs with clients and internal team members. 
  

Requirements include:

 4-year Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, preferred.

• 5+ years of commercial or industrial estimating experience including self-perform earthwork, concrete, carpentry, and/or steel.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office programs.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask effectively to meet time sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to travel throughout Central Ohio to customer sites 50% of the time.
• Must be able to successfully complete the I-9 requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
