Position Description:
Your Regional Sales Manager position is a key contributor to the success of us achieving its past and future sales goals. You are responsible for working with the sales team to effectively manage our marketing strategies and to utilize our marketing dollars to generate sales. You are also responsible for growth in your district which includes equipment, parts, tooling, and service. You are the face of the company to our customers and your communication and actions must always represent the our core values.
Essential Job Functions:
· Developing and implementing sales, marketing, financial, and structural strategies in stores across a territory.
· Overseeing sales operations and strategies within a specific geographic region.
· Setting sales targets and developing sales plans.
· Achieving revenue goals for the region.
· Forging strong relationships with key clients.
· Identifying new business opportunities.
· Recommend service and product enhancement to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction.
· Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them.
· Develop field sales action plans to facilitate the implementation of the regional sales programs
· Plan for the achievement of individual and divisional targets in alignment with the strategies and policies of the company.
· Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume and forecasting and developing sales quotas for territories and the region.
- Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix.
- Develop and implement new programs, sales initiatives, and strategies to capture key demographics.
- Document customer interactions and maintain data related to activities, accounts and partners
- Design cross-selling programs and campaigns.
- Uplift the regional sales volume to its possible best.
- Develop and review long- and short-term sales strategies.
· Traveling to customers’ plants approximately 50% of the calendar year to help better understand the customer’s needs while developing, implementing, and managing sales strategy.
· Assist with creating sales presentation materials.
· Utilize and develop sales tracking tools to help understand purchasing trends and better service our customers’ needs.
· Monitoring and responding to emails, phone calls, text, and web submissions to and from customers daily to help direct sales opportunities through the proper channels.
· Assist with service request, parts and tooling issues, and other related issues that may arise from customers.
· Performing additional duties as assigned or necessary.
Qualifications:
· 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in business or 3+ years of experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3 + years of sales experience preferred
