Our client, a global law firm, is seeking an experienced Traditional Labor Associate Attorney to join its firm. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with substantial traditional labor law experience who is looking to work on sophisticated matters for a diverse client base in a fast-paced, nationally recognized practice. The role offers meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the chance to work alongside seasoned practitioners handling complex and high-stakes traditional labor matters.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction (state of residence), in good standing
- 3-8 years of substantive experience in traditional labor law
- Substantial experience with collective bargaining, unfair labor practice litigation, union campaigns, and labor arbitrations
- Demonstrated ability to advise employers on labor relations strategy and day-to-day labor matters
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within team-based environments

Experience gained in a large or sophisticated labor and employment practice preferred
Key Responsibilities

- Represent management in traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining negotiations and grievance arbitrations
- Handle unfair labor practice charges and proceedings before the NLRB
- Advise employers on union organizing campaigns and labor relations strategy
- Provide day-to-day counseling on labor law compliance and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with colleagues across offices on complex, multi-jurisdictional labor matters
