Location: Pittsburgh, PA

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join an integrated behavioral health team within a community health center setting. This role provides long-term outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, working collaboratively with primary care providers, psychiatry, and care coordination staff to deliver whole-person care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician passionate about serving diverse, underserved urban populations, including BIPOC, immigrant, and LGBTQI+ communities, within a trauma-informed and culturally responsive framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy for children, adolescents, and adults
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, screenings, and psychosocial evaluations
  • Treat depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, grief, substance use disorders, and serious mental illness (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders)
  • Utilize evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, IPT, Behavioral Activation, Prolonged Exposure, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, primary care providers, care coordinators, and the broader health team
  • Provide psychoeducation and support for patients managing both physical and mental health conditions
  • Coordinate referrals to higher levels of care or community resources (IOP/PHP, detox/rehab, housing, case management, support groups, etc.)
  • Track patient outcomes and engagement through registry systems and EMR documentation
  • Develop and update treatment plans, relapse prevention plans, and discharge summaries
  • Participate in regular supervision and interdisciplinary case consultations
  • Complete documentation and billing in a timely and compliant manner

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or related field required
  • Active Pennsylvania license as an LCSW or LPC
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a community health or integrated care setting
  • Experience working with diverse and underserved populations
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based mental health treatment practices
  • Commitment to culturally competent and LGBTQI+ affirming care
  • Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and general computer applications
  • Second language a plus
  • Required background clearances (Child Abuse and FBI Clearance)
