Electrical Systems Project Manager

Overview

A well-established electrical products and services company headquartered in Tulsa, OK is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Manager. The Project Manager will manage projects ranging from small enclosed control systems to complex e-House customer project orders, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient project execution. Responsibilities include initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing customer projects.

Responsibilities

Project Initiation

Validate project scope, schedule, cost, and contract terms with customers, including technical and commercial elements

Act as the lead contact during project execution

Project Planning

Develop and maintain project organization, schedule, and risk register

Engage with internal manufacturing facilities and third-party vendors

Project Execution

Monitor project execution through kick-off meetings, scheduling, and communication with all parties

Drive risk and change management

Solve problems and enhance customer relationships

Project Monitoring and Control

Manage project scope changes and process change orders

Oversee project performance and verify task completion

Establish regular project updates and reports for stakeholders

Project Closeout

Manage financial reconciliation

Verify equipment arrival, installation, and start-up coordination

Support customer training

Capture lessons learned and documentation for future projects



Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint, Teams)

Experience with ERP/MRP systems

Understanding of supply chain management and production workflows

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

Education

Bachelors degree preferred (Engineering discipline preferred)

PMP certification is a plus

Experience

35 years of project/program management experience

Understanding of electrical systems integration, HVAC, building or electronic control systems is a plus

Knowledge of electrical enclosure integration is a plus
