Affiliated Recruiters Network Caruthersvillem MO, United States (On-site)This role is ideal for a production leader on the rise — someone ready to step into broader responsibility and help elevate how a plant runs.
Our manufacturing client is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily operations, strengthen execution, and develop people within a growing 300 person non-union manufacturing plant. Experience matters, but leadership mindset, coachability, and the ability to raise the level of others matter more.
This is not a “sit-back-and-maintain” role. It’s an opportunity to grow alongside a leadership team that wants to do things the right way.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and production flow
- Improve productivity, quality, and labor utilization
- Coach supervisors and help develop future leaders
- Apply lean principles to drive steady, practical improvements
- Partner across functions to strengthen execution and accountability
- Ensure production goals are met in a safe, disciplined environment
Who This Fits Well
- Up-and-coming Production Managers or strong Operations Supervisors ready for more
- Leaders with metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing experience
- Engineers or technically grounded leaders who enjoy building people, not just processes
- Managers who lead from the floor and take pride in developing others
What You’ll Bring
- Manufacturing leadership experience (depth matters less than trajectory)
- Exposure to metal fabrication or heavy manufacturing environments
- Lean or continuous improvement experience with real application
- A degree is preferred — engineering backgrounds are especially attractive
- The ability to raise standards without burning people out
Why This Role Matters
- Visible role with room to grow and expand responsibility
- Supportive plant leadership and clear expectations
- Opportunity to shape culture, talent, and execution
- A company committed to developing leaders — not just filling seats
If you’re ready to stretch, lead, and build capability in others — this role is worth a closer look.
