We are partnering with a privately held, multi-location organization known for its high-end, design-forward showroom environments to identify a Strategic Showroom Programs Manager. This is a highly visible, corporate-level role responsible for shaping the strategy, standards, and programs that drive performance across a portfolio of luxury showrooms. The position blends vendor partnership, financial acumen, design sensibility, and program leadership, making it ideal for someone who thrives where creativity meets business strategy.
This role is not about managing an individual location — it is about elevating the showroom experience across the enterprise. For those interested in a rare opportunity to influence high-end showroom strategy within a respected, growing organization, we encourage you to apply.
Essential Job Functions:
Showroom Strategy & Standards
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve corporate showroom programs, standards, and best practices across multiple locations.
- Partner with senior leadership to build and execute showroom strategies aligned with revenue, margin, and brand objectives.
- Ensure showroom environments consistently deliver a premium, design-led customer experience, while allowing for local nuance.
Vendor Programs & Product Strategy
- Lead vendor-facing showroom programs, including rebates, incentives, display strategy, and product lifecycle planning.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to anticipate future product trends and showroom needs (6–12 months ahead).
- Influence product mix, merchandising standards, and display investments across locations.
Financial & Performance Oversight
- Contribute to budgeting and P&L-related inputs tied to showroom performance.
- Help define, track, and evolve KPIs and performance metrics, including revenue, margin, and service-related measures.
- Support showroom leaders in translating strategy into execution and measurable results.
Training & Development Programs
- Design and own the framework for showroom training and professional development, including product knowledge and selling approach.
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to coordinate training content and delivery. This role owns the strategy and structure, not daily facilitation of training delivery
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Industry Representation
- Serve as a corporate representative at industry events, vendor councils, and design-related forums.
- Collaborate closely with marketing on showroom storytelling, digital presence, events, and promotional initiatives.
- Function as a liaison between showroom teams, vendors, sales leadership, and executive stakeholders.
Qualifications Required:
- Experience in luxury showrooms, design centers, or premium retail environments (kitchen & bath, lighting, furniture, or architectural/design-focused products).
- Demonstrated ownership of product mix, displays, pricing strategies, SPIFF programs, showroom programs, or marketing across multiple locations.
- Successful experience collaborating with vendors or manufacturers on programs, displays, incentives, or product strategy.
- Comfort working with financial data related to margin, performance, or P&L inputs.
- Strong blend of creative/design sensibility and analytical thinking.
- Proven success with vendor negotiations and selection.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and big-picture orientation.
- Ability to operate autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel regionally (~25%).
Compensation includes an attractive base salary and annual bonus incentive.
