A Day In The Life
- Partner with business leaders to turn operational needs into scalable JDE initiatives and best-practice solutions
- Act as a trusted bridge between business, IT, and vendors, ensuring clear alignment across stakeholders
- Own requirements discovery, converting business needs into cohesive functional and technical JDE solutions
- Perform comprehensive Gap Analysis by assessing current-state (“As-Is”) and future-state (“To-Be”) business processes, identifying system and process gaps, and recommending optimized ERP solutions aligned with business objectives
- Lead Root Cause Analysis on production issues, delivering durable functional and process improvements
- Support ERP integrations and enterprise standardization, including onboarding new business units and harmonizing processes
- Apply hands-on experience with JD Edwards system configurations, databases, third-party integrations, master data management, interface design, data flow analysis, and troubleshooting
- Design and lead UAT, validating end-to-end business processes before release
- Manage enhancements and fixes through structured change control, from design through deployment
- Deliver Tier 1–3 functional support, minimizing downtime and improving user experience
- Create and deliver user training, SOPs, and knowledge transfer to drive adoption and team readiness
Location – Dallas, TX (northeast). Hybrid work schedule (3 days / week in office).
Background Profile
- 8+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience in a functional systems or business analyst role
- Strong ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into JDE solutions, working closely with users, leadership, and developers
- Hands-on functional support across Finance, Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse & Inventory modules in a customized E1 environment
- Solid experience configuring UDCs, processing options, and application constants
- Good understanding of JDE data structures and core tables, and how modules interrelate
- Exposure to JDE Orchestrator / Orchestration preferred; Groovy experience a plus
- Working knowledge of SQL, including writing and reviewing queries
- Detail-oriented, analytical problem-solver with strong communication skills
- Ability to model, validate, and demonstrate business processes within test environments
- Local to northeast Dallas preferred (relocation considered for standout U.S.-based candidates)
