The Role
This role exists to make manufacturing smarter, faster, and more reliable. As the Automation Engineer, you’ll design, implement, and support automation that improves efficiency across the plant, from concept through day-to-day operation. You’ll own the technology that keeps production moving.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Identify opportunities to automate and improve manufacturing processes.

• Design, simulate, test, and implement electrical and mechanical automation systems.

• Program and integrate automated components into existing manufacturing operations.

• Lead or support project teams during automation initiatives.

• Troubleshoot automation equipment and processes when issues arise.

• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for systems and processes.

• Train operators and technicians after new equipment installs or process changes.

• Provide remote technical support after hours when needed.

The AMAZING Things You Bring

• Engineering degree with 3+ years in a manufacturing environment

• Strong technical foundation in design, validation, and troubleshooting.

• Proficiency with high-level schematics, PLC programming

• Solid programming and software development skills.

• Clear communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to all levels of the organization.

• Problem-solver with the creativity to diagnose issues and implement practical solutions.

• Curiosity and drive to continuously build new technical and leadership skills, and share knowledge with the team.
