We are seeking a Senior CyberIntelligence Specialist to join an exclusive team in Salt Lake City, UT.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for and take part in security audits and evaluations.
- Configure operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and UNIX to ensure compliance with federal regulations, including 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DAAPM, JSIG, NIST standards, and CCRI guidelines.
- Create and maintain system authorization documentation for both new and existing systems, aligning with NISPOM, JSIG, NIST, and RMF processes.
- Manage and update security tools and platforms such as SIMS and eMASS.
- Design and maintain network architecture, including Layer 3-7 switching and IP address configurations for extended WANs.
- Set up VMware NSX with micro-segmentation and implement Cisco Unified Call Manager for VOIP/VTC solutions.
- Conduct system and network vulnerability assessments to evaluate security risks.
- Monitor and analyze audit logs, identifying and investigating unusual activity or security breaches.
- Support security investigations and incident response efforts.
- Develop training materials and conduct sessions on cybersecurity protocols and policies for both general and privileged users.
- Stay up to date with changing security standards and practices.
- Address security concerns and ensure compliance with applicable standards in collaboration with the ISSM and FSO.
- Maintain an active Secret clearance and demonstrate the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance after employment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with at least six years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of four years of related experience.
- In the absence of a degree, 10 years of equivalent work experience is required.
Preferred Skills
- Previous hands-on experience with RMF, serving as an ISSM or ISSO.
- Proficiency in system administration roles.
- Familiarity with frameworks and regulations such as NISPOM, DAAPM, JSIG, and ICD standards.
- Relevant certifications like Network+, CCNA, CISSP, or RHCSA.
- A minimum of two years of experience in information security and cyber intelligence.
- At least two years of expertise in implementing RMF protocols.
- Compliance with 8570/8140 IAM Level 1 or higher certifications, such as Security+.
- Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph preferred.
