RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Prepare and review complex tax returns, including federal, state, and local returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
· Provide comprehensive tax consulting and advisory services to clients, including strategic tax planning and optimization.
· Analyze the tax implications of business transactions and propose tax-efficient strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize benefits.
· Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, communicating their impact to clients and internal stakeholders.
· Cultivate strong client relationships by providing exceptional service, regular communication, and proactive tax advice.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their tax-related concerns and providing tailored solutions.
· Supervise and review the work of junior tax professionals, offering guidance and feedback to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
· Foster the professional growth and development of team members through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., Master's in Taxation) is a plus.
· CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or other relevant professional certification highly desired.
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax services within a professional services firm.
· Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
· Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.
· Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the development and maintenance of client relationships.
