We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst with extensive expertise in JD Edwards, specifically in the Supply Chain domain. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of primary Supply Chain and Distribution functionality within JD Edwards, including integration of 3rd party tools, orchestrations, and customizations. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes, enhancing system functionality, and driving efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide best practice recommendations to enhance efficiency, reliability, performance, and functionality of supply chain processes.
Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to understand requirements, demonstrating a deep understanding of business needs and recommending design changes as necessary.
Collaborate with development teams to design and test solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Create and document Business Requirements, As-Is/To-Be process flows, functional specifications, and other necessary documentation.
Define integration touchpoints between JD Edwards and other applications.
Provide functional support for JD Edwards (JDE) E1 in Sales Order/Distribution, and Finance modules, including customizations.
Prepare test data and collaborate with technical analysts to troubleshoot issues.
Support EDI and other integration testing and post-implementation validation.
Advise on the configuration and setup of system master data.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science preferred.
8-10 years of experience as a JD Edwards Functional Business Analyst in an EnterpriseOne environment.
Minimum 5 years’ experience configuring and supporting JD Edwards Enterprise One (E1) versions 8.9-9.2.
Experience with planning and executing upgrades to JDE is highly desirable.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in database SQL queries, data extracts, V-Lookups, and data analysis.
Strong familiarity with Orchestrator, EDI operations and integrations, BIPublisher, Sales & Procurement, and logistics experience preferred.
Flexible/out-of-the-box thinking.
Experience with acquisitions and converting 3rd party systems to JDE is a plus.
Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and working with logistics is a plus
Experience with support ticketing systems and RPA products is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment with on-site presence in Purchase, NY on Tuesdays through Thursdays.
