This well-established organization is a global leader in their industry and is recruiting for a Senior Facility Design Engineer. This role will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and equipment of multiple buildings and facilities within Ohio. The position will also be responsible for working with ongoing and future expansion projects to set up the new facilities.

• Responsible for leadership for planning and execution of capital investment projects.
• Responsible for ongoing/future expansion projects infrastructure and facility layout.
• Project execution to managing groups of projects in designated plant areas.
• Proficient in gathering and analyzing data, blueprints, and reports.
• Responsible for delivery of assigned project objectives for scope, schedule, budget, and cash flow. 
• Ensure daily activities are aligned with overall project priorities.
• Comply with all site EHS and engineering standards.  
• Development of facility and infrastructure standards throughout the multiple sites.
• Collaborate with all levels of the operational team to gather input on project objectives.
• Responsible for project-related programs to support the investment process across the sites.
• Will support continuous improvement of the overall investment process.
• Develop and maintain key supplier/contractor relationships for consistent and reliable project execution. 

Requirements

• BS degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
• Eight or more years’ experience in a manufacturing work environment.
• Experience designing and creating facility layouts.
• Experience working with contractors.
• Experience in managing projects and building expansions.
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD drawing systems.
• Strong leadership and motivation skills within all layers of the business.
