PROJECT ARCHITECT / ARCHITECTURAL ASSOCIATE: RESTAURANTS ($30 - $35 per hour)
Our client is a growing and dynamic firm with nearly two decades of experience across the Southeast and beyond.
With an abundance of new, private projects, they seek a full-time Project Architect / Architectural Associate to assist in the design and development of restaurant projects. They seek an individual who is passionate and committed to design and customer service as much as they are!
Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Attend client meetings, interact with stakeholders, and maintain ongoing communication to ensure alignment with client goals.
- Code & Compliance: Conduct building and zoning code research, review construction documents (CDs) for quality and compliance with office standards, and coordinate design drawings with consultants, vendors, and contractors.
- Design Development: Translate schematic design (SD) and design development (DD) drawings into detailed construction documents, contributing to the overall design and development of projects.
- Construction Administration: Perform site visits, review submittals and shop drawings, manage RFIs, change orders, and oversee project close-out tasks, including punch lists and final documentation.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

Experience:
- Restaurant project experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and/or other architectural design software.
- Minimum of one year of related experience
