Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Civil Engineer with extensive experience to fill a senior Project Manager role focused on land development. The ideal candidate should have over 10 years of professional experience and be well-versed in managing complex projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to lead teams, build client relationships, and contribute to business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

• Provide direction for the planning, design, and successful delivery of intricate land development projects.
• Oversee multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with internal teams, municipalities, and clients to ensure accurate communication and project success.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout each project phase.

Technical Expertise:

• Supervise and manage tasks related to site grading, drainage systems, roadway and utility design, and structural design elements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations and safety standards throughout all projects.
• Use advanced software such as Civil3D and GIS for design and analysis, integrating best practices into project workflows.
• Approach challenges with critical thinking, contributing to a problem-solving culture and staying current on industry innovations.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a positive, collaborative, and innovative working environment.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on technical issues and career growth opportunities.

Client Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Act as a trusted consultant, offering strategic insights and recommendations to improve project outcomes.

Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new opportunities for project development, supporting the growth and success of the company.
• Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals, participate in client presentations, and secure new projects.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 10 years in civil engineering with a focus on land development.
  • Proven success in managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles and design practices.
  • Experience in client relationship management and business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Skills:

• Proficient in relevant engineering software such as Civil3D and GIS.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary: $150,000+
