Job Title: Senior Project Manager / Team Leader – Civil Engineering

Job Overview:

A dynamic and experienced Civil Engineer is needed for a senior-level Project Manager/Team Leader role. The ideal candidate should have over a decade of civil engineering experience, specifically in land development, and be skilled in leading engineering teams. This position also requires strong client relationship management abilities and a proven background in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

• Lead the planning, design, and management of large-scale land development projects.
• Oversee project teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions within set schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal teams, local agencies, and clients to ensure timely communication and project progress.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are consistently met.

Technical Expertise:

• Oversee and provide technical guidance on site grading, drainage systems, roadway and utility design, and related structural components.
• Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.
• Utilize advanced design software such as Civil3D and GIS for accurate project delivery.
• Continuously seek out and apply innovative solutions to technical challenges.

Team Development:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative working environment.
• Provide professional development opportunities and technical guidance to team members.

Client Management:

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
• Serve as an expert consultant to clients, offering strategic recommendations to optimize project results.

Business Development:

• Actively identify and pursue new project opportunities to contribute to the firm's growth.
• Work closely with the business development team to prepare project proposals and participate in client presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience, with a specialization in land development projects.
• Demonstrated success in managing engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and relevant software tools.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business growth through new project acquisition.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: $150,000+
