Our client, a top AmLaw 50 national law firm, is seeking a highly-motivated, dynamic Mid-Level Project Finance Associate Attorney to join their Finance Practice Group and Energy Sector. This position is available in Houston, Los Angeles, Madison, Milwaukee, New York, or Washington, DC.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from an ABA-approved law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar admission in applicable jurisdiction; in good standing.
- 3–5 years of substantive experience in renewable energy project finance or tax credit transactions.
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents, including credit agreements and tax equity documents.
- Proven capability to conduct thorough reviews of project documents, manage subject-matter specialist reviews, and close transactions effectively.
- Background in a large law firm is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to excel in client-driven, complex environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional analytical abilities, are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal services in renewable energy project finance and tax credit transactions.
- Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents, such as credit agreements and tax equity documents.
- Collaborate with a dynamic and growing team to advance the long-term strategic objectives of the Energy Sector.
- Manage due diligence and subject matter review specialists review and oversee the closing of complex renewable energy transactions.
