Location: Flexible across office locations in California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.
Our client, a prominent national law firm, is seeking a lateral Corporate Partner to join their Corporate & Private Equity team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced corporate attorney to join a dynamic practice advising companies, private equity funds, and venture capital funds on strategic growth and structuring.
Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar admission in good standing in the state where you practice.

10-15 years of substantive experience in corporate/transactional law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate governance.
- Proven business development skills with some portable business.
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate governance matters.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to companies, private equity funds, and venture capital funds across various industries.
- Manage complex transactional matters, collaborating with colleagues across multiple offices.
- Develop and implement growth and structuring strategies for clients, ensuring compliance with corporate governance regulations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to the firm’s business development efforts.
