Job description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer to join their team in London, Kingston, or Kitchener, Ontario. As a key member of the electrical engineering team, you will design and draft electrical systems for various building services projects. Responsibilities include:
- Designing power distribution and generation systems, lighting, fire alarm, and voice/data communications systems
- Creating drawings in AutoCAD and REVIT
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, and sales representatives
- Conducting site visits and construction phase services
- Collaborating with other engineering disciplines
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of electrical design experience in the building construction industry, with at least 5 years in Ontario
- University degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong knowledge of OBC, OESC, and other relevant codes
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to work well under deadlines and lead teams
- Experience in various industry sectors (multi-unit residential (MUR), healthcare, commercial, industrial, institutional)
