Aspire Talent Solutions is partnered with a National CNC Machine Tool Distributor in their search for a Business Unit Manager. This position will be responsible for promoting and driving the sales of CNC Machine Tool solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of strategic sales initiatives while working closely with Regional Sales Managers and Distribution partners domestically and internationally. This position reports to the VP, Sales.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Meet annual sales performance goals through effective planning and execution together with responsible RSMs and Distribution partners domestically and internationally.

·        Collaborate with sales reps, distributors and external partners to enhance market reach.

·        Define and coordinate action plans based on sales strategies; assist in development of pricing strategies for market segments.  

·        Ensure forecasting accuracy and reporting by maintaining a healthy SalesForce pipeline; report market conditions to key stake holders and leadership on a regular basis.

·        Coordinate inventory management and balanced reporting via FIFO, limiting demo machines, incentivizing aging machines, etc.

·        Work closely with distribution partners on competitive accounts and industry-focused segments.

·        Collaborate with internal technical colleagues (engineering and project management) to deliver on customer pre-sale needs, including but not limited to in-depth product presentations and demonstrations, automation opportunities, test cuts, etc.

·        Drive post-sales communication with the highest level of professionalism and sensitivity to resolve difficult customer issues, supporting service and parts needs for end user satisfaction.

·        Participate in regional industry associations and become actively involved to attract new opportunities. Attend regional, as well as national conferences/tradeshows and promotional events.

·        Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·        5-15 years of sales experience in manufacturing, capital equipment (Swiss or CNC preferred).

·        Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical field strongly preferred in combination of training and work experience.

·        Microsoft Office, SalesForce, CAD required.

·        Ability to travel up to 50% nationwide, as well as occasional international travel

·        Must have valid Driver’s License, Insurance, and Passport (or ability to obtain passport)
