Qualifications:
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in site civil or municipal design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for municipal-related projects
- EIT certification preferred (or in progress)
- Strong attention to detail and solid communication skills
Key Responsibilities
Municipal & Site Design
- Perform design tasks involving:
- Stormwater management
- Detention basin layout
- Infrastructure rehabilitation
- State and local permitting requirements
- Develop high-quality engineering drawings and technical documents
Technical Documentation & Permitting
- Prepare engineering reports, technical memos, and supporting documentation
- Draft and assemble permit applications for state and municipal agencies
Plan Review & Compliance
- Review subdivision and utility plans submitted by developers
- Ensure project compliance with municipal ordinances, including:
- Subdivision & land development
- Zoning
- Grading
- Stormwater management
- Support construction administration tasks and escrow tracking when required
