What Youll Do
- Support the planning, design, and implementation of water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment system projects.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with permitting, regulatory coordination, and construction documentation.
- Conduct site visits and evaluations to support data collection, design, and construction oversight.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Civil/Site, Structural, GIS, Survey, and Traffic to deliver fully integrated solutions.
- Communicate project status, findings, and solutions clearly to project managers, clients, and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, with opportunities to expand client-facing experience.
Qualifications:
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; PE license a plus or in progress.
- 25 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering or municipal infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with hydraulic modeling, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of water/wastewater systems, permitting requirements, and design standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, technical writing, and interpersonal skills.
