Key Responsibilities

Municipal & Site Design

  • Perform design tasks involving:
    • Stormwater management
    • Detention basin layout
    • Infrastructure rehabilitation
    • State and local permitting requirements
  • Develop high-quality engineering drawings and technical documents

Technical Documentation & Permitting

  • Prepare engineering reports, technical memos, and supporting documentation
  • Draft and assemble permit applications for state and municipal agencies

Plan Review & Compliance

  • Review subdivision and utility plans submitted by developers
  • Ensure project compliance with municipal ordinances, including:
    • Subdivision & land development
    • Zoning
    • Grading
    • Stormwater management
  • Support construction administration tasks and escrow tracking when required

Qualifications:

Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in site civil or municipal design
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D for municipal-related projects
  • EIT certification preferred (or in progress)
  • Strong attention to detail and solid communication skills
