Job description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Environmental Services to join our team at our assisted living facility in Staten Island, NY. The successful candidate will oversee both housekeeping and maintenance departments, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and direct the housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective operations

- Develop and implement environmental services policies and procedures

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies

- Manage budgets, supplies, and equipment for environmental services

- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless operations

- Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations for staff members

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance, housekeeping, or a related field

- Proven experience in managing budgets, supplies, and equipment

- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements

- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
