Job description:
Full Stack Engineer High-Growth Developer Infrastructure organization (NYC, hybrid)
A fast-scaling infrastructure startup is hiring Full Stack Engineers to help build the platform that thousands of engineering teams rely on daily. The company has reached significant revenue milestones, is backed by a top-tier VC, and graduated from a leading accelerator program. The team is small (~15 people), the product has clear traction, and they're processing millions of compute jobs every day on their own bare-metal fleet.
The Opportunity
You'll work across the entire stack - building customer-facing product features, developing applied AI capabilities, and shipping rapidly in a high-ownership environment. This is a 0-to-1 product engineering role where you'll have direct impact on the platform used by hundreds of fast-growing technology companies. The engineering culture values pragmatism, speed, and clear thinking over process and ceremony.
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For
- 38 years of full-stack software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Go (or similar backend languages); Postgres and analytics databases like ClickHouse are a plus
- Experience at high-growth early-stage startups or Big Tech with a demonstrated signal of excellence (strong school, rapid progression, impactful projects)
- CS degree from a strong undergraduate program required
- Hands-on experience with applied AI (running evaluations, building AI-powered features) is a plus
- Bonus: background at a developer tools or infrastructure company, or experience at a startup navigating the pre-PMF journey
- Must be able to work in-office in New York City 45 days per week - this is not a remote role
Compensation
- Base salary: $200,000 $300,000
- Competitive equity package
- Visa sponsorship available (H-1B transfers and TN sponsorship; not new H-1B petitions)
What Makes This Interesting
The company is at an inflection point - strong product-market fit, rapid revenue growth, a tiny team, and massive hiring ambitions (5+ engineers for this role alone). You'd be joining early enough to have a meaningful equity stake and outsized influence on the product and engineering culture, but late enough that the product is proven and customers are real.
Why is This a Great Opportunity:
Rocket ship startup that's growing fast with impressive customers.
