Compensation: $90k-$100k DOE (potentially higher if brings existing book), plus bonus and benefits
Our client, a well-established financial advisory firm, is seeking a Retirement Plan Advisor to join their Baton Rouge office as it enters its next growth phase. This individual will play a key role in servicing and expanding the firm’s retirement plan business, with the opportunity to take “servicing ownership” of client relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing retirement plan experience and/or a book of business (or strong potential leads), but it is also open to candidates without current 401(k) clients who bring the right skillset, experience, and initiative.
Qualifications of the Retirement Plan Advisor:

- A minimum of 3 plus years of experience in a similar retirement plan advisor/servicing role
- Solid knowledge of retirement plan operations, regulations, and client service best practices
- A retirement/401k book of business or strong client lead pipeline is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, especially when working with small business owners and plan sponsors
- Willingness to collaborate with others while building an individual practice
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $90-$100k if servicing existing clients only. Potential for $100k+ for candidates with a portable book of business
· Salary options: May elect salary plus bonus comp structure or to be paid on a generous payout grid (percentage payout options on self-generated and split/shared business.
- Compensation structure can be flexible if a base salary is required.
