Education & Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- PE stamp VT with ability to get NY and NH Stamps.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience designing MEP systems for commercial buildings.
- Proficiency in Revit for drafting and modeling a strong desire but not a requirement
- Creative mindset to tailor solutions to each project’s unique needs.
Duties
Energy-Efficient Design:
- Lead the design and development of HVAC and electrical systems for commercial and industrial buildings.
- Implement sustainable practices while ensuring practical functionality.
- Optimize energy consumption through innovative solutions.
Project Leadership:
- Manage MEP projects from concept to completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate MEP systems seamlessly.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Technical Expertise:
- Oversee and conduct calculations for MEP systems.
- Utilize advanced modeling tools (such as Revit) to visualize designs.
- Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient technologies.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with architects and other engineers.
- Communicate design concepts effectively to clients and project stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of innovation and practical problem-solving.
Quality Assurance:
- Review construction documents, specifications, and submittals.
- Perform site visits to ensure design implementation aligns with practical requirements.
- Address any design modifications promptly.
