Job Description
Our client, a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Russellville, KY is now hiring for a full time Recruiter. This position is a result of company expansion and the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands on recruiting experience.   • Recruiting for company professional roles including HR, Accounting and IT roles within a manufacturing environment
  • Interviewing, testing and referring candidates for all full-time, part-time, retiree rehire, and intern positions throughout the company
  • Recruits potential employees via candidate sourcing, recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, job fairs, internships and other sources
  • Traveling to community and college career fairs 
  • Collaborates with hiring managers and HR team to determine the required skills and experience for open positions
  • Contacts candidates and confirms interview schedules, including travel arrangements as needed
  • Makes job offers and assists in compensation negotiations. 
  • Coordinates appropriate employment testing and pre-hire physicals
  • Conducts team trainings on HR related subject matters
  • Develops and maintains recruitment materials
  • Oversees the Summer Intern Program and Ambassador Program

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or other related Social Science 
  • At least 2 years of experience in hands on recruiting
  • Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the HR field
  • Must be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Must be able to perform a variety of tasks including leading and directing the work of others and being involved in significant problem solving and decision making 
  • Must have demonstrated skills of professionalism, and be approachable by all employee groups
  • Must prioritize and manage the office environment, and help oversee clerical responsibilities, communicate effectively, and demonstrating a high degree of organizational and follow-up skills
  • Must exhibit a high degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Must possess considerable skilled interviewing techniques and extensive knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices
