We are in search of a full time Perfusionist who meets the following requirements:
While our client will consider NEW GRADS, prior experience as a Perfusionist is preferred.
Our client needs someone who can hit the ground running and if a new grad…very eager to learn
Graduate from a CAAHEP accredited school of cardiovascular perfusion and completion of a Baccalaureate program.
American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) certified as a Certified Clinical Perfusionist or registry eligible and must obtain within 2 years of hire.
You should be reliable, quick on your feet, contentious and proactive thinker. A team player!
Our client offers competitive pay. For a new grad, salary starts at: $ 114,109. Should you have 2 years experience you are eligible for a $15,000 sign on bonus plus up to $ 15,000 in Relocation based on receipts. Should you have 3 years experience you are eligible for a $ 20,000 sign on bonus plus up to $ 20,000 relocation based on receipts.

Educational assistance eligibility after 180 days of employment: Maximum assistance of $3,000 per year ($5,250 for BSN/MSN degrees). Award will be granted based on budgeted hours worked per week

While working under the supervision of a physician, here is what a typical day would look like for you:
Operate extracorporeal circulation equipment during medical procedures requiring support or temporary replacement of patient's circulatory and respiratory functions.
Perform technical work in the selection, preparation, operation, and maintenance of the heart-lung machine and accessory equipment.
Prepare and administer blood products and prescription solutions through extracorporeal circuitry.
Responsible for performing administrative duties for CVTSA Perfusion Services Department. These include, but are not limited to, maintenance of accreditation, teaching, and training as assigned by the Director of Perfusion Services or defined by departmental policy.
***This position will
work between the hours of
6:00am and 7:30pm (will rotate start times). Will also cover call at night and on weekends. Will be in holiday rotation***
