Great new opportunity for a
Manufacturing Engineer with Fabrication and Welding background
with our manufacturing client in the
Waterloo, Iowa area.
This Manufacturing Engineer
will be responsible for establishing job processes and making sure they are in compliance with IOSHA, safety requirements, and ergonomic standards, providing project leadership in the analysis of existing job processes, the development of new, more efficient job processes, and proving the viability of those recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
1+ years of job related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Fabrication and welding
Lean Manufacturing methodologies a plus
CNC a plus
Contribute overall project leadership towards the development of new job processes, and the review and maintenance of existing job processes.
Corresponds closely with other Production Division engineering functions to maintain consistent job specifications and quoting requirements.
Classify and advance manufacturing methods and troubleshoots manufacturing problems.
Responsible for leading the development and implementation of more efficient job processes that improve production efficiencies.
Considers and plans space requirements and workflow of design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of all work instruction documents such as control plans and set up instructions.
Track results and make improvements to new process as needed to ensure new process is more efficient.
Administer leadership and vision necessary to ensure the company, division and department achieve goals.
Achieve goals by ensuring the proper procedures, systems, people, and training are in place.
Equip leadership and direction to achieve desired results through others.
Serve as role model and represent the company inside and outside to promote their values and build up strong community relationships.
