The Human Resources Manager position is an 8-12 week contract position with a global manufacturer. There is high potential for this position to turn into a permanent direct hire role. Our client wants to ensure a right fit for both the company and the candidate.
degree required; MBA or Master’s degree preferred;
7+ years of related experience in progressively responsible HR roles;
Strong skills in Project Management, leadership, people development, employee relations, decision-making and problem-solving;
Federal, state and local law compliance;
Strong organizational, planning, influencing, and conflict management skills;
Excellent interpersonal, communication, training and presentation skills;
Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Implementing and supporting human resource programs for a large employee plant (1000+);
Leading programs for building leadership capability, employee relations, and recruiting;,
Driving cultural transformation and organizational change;
Leading the talent development review process and implementing actions to both train high potential employees and performance manage underperforming employees;
Ensuring compliance with all laws for employee practices and policies, salary and wage administration, and required training;
Administrating the EEO and diversity plans;
Working collaboratively with colleagues on strategic issues and new initiatives;
Monitoring and reporting on progress of the projects;
Reporting directly to the HR Director.
